Premise [
]
The legends of Wall-Crawlers, Super Soldiers, Aliens and Mutants have been shaped into the pantheon of modern mythology. Their stories of great battles and glorious victories were the things that cemented their place in the history books. Their origins are something we’ve all become familiar with because they are what it means to evolve from ordinary to something superb. The feats they painted on the canvas of the world were the very embodiment of what it means to be heroic in a suffering society.

This game will change what we know of Marvel’s Earth-616 and flip it upside down. We will tackle the question of ‘What If’ in a whole new light. Xavier’s school will be emptied out and rebuilt. The Avengers will be reassembled. Instead we will do something different with this game: we’re going to reboot.

We’re going to take everything back to the start of things and reinvent your beloved Marvel characters. As the writer, you will be allowed to take on any Marvel character and completely reboot them. This means you can recreate Captain America in whatever fashion you like. Perhaps Steve is now a woman? Perhaps Captain America went blind from the super soldier serum? Perhaps he was kicked out of the military! The possibilities are endless but in the end, your character will be up to you to define.

An extensive knowledge of Marvel’s Earth-616 history wont be required. You wont be faulted if you’re not versed in every detail of canon events. All we ask is that when rebooting characters you keep certain constants. Maintain their powers as is, for the sake of identifying the character. When renaming your character, try to keep the name or codename similar. Restrictions will be limited on what you can or cant do within this game. Just remember, while you may be rebooting the character the world is still going to need it’s champions. The threat of evil lurks in the shadows at night and danger is afoot. When that call for justice is made, the world will still need someone to stand up for the innocents.

The question is: Will your character be the one to answer that call?
